New World Association offers exciting volunteering opportunities for those who are interested to work with newcomers to this country!

We invite dedicated individuals to provide tutoring services to English as a Second Language learners.

Requirements for candidates:

• a four year degree or pursuing four year degree
• computer proficiency
• good communication skills
• commitment to providing instructional services for at least 3 hours per week

      for 16 weeks

You will get exclusive credentials by completing the Basic and ESL tutor trainings with the City of Philadelphia Mayor’s Commission on Literacy and acquire unique experience in teaching language and survival skills to those who need you.
